RIDING LESSONS
At Blue Ribbon Stables we pride ourselves on the quality of horsemanship our students possess.  Right
from the very first lesson our students are learning how to properly care for their horse or pony in
addition to riding skills.  Our instructors are ARIA Certified giving you peace of mind knowing that the
rider's safety is our number one concern.  We also have a proven track record as quality instructors
capable of teaching riders of all levels and enabling riders to recognize their own advancement.

We only offer PRIVATE lessons as we feel that this is best environment for complete learning.  Lessons
are 1 hour each and include learning horse care.  Lessons are generally $50 each - however we have
several packages available to assist with lesson pricing.

We do have lesson horses and ponies available so you do not have to own your own horse or pony.
However, as you advance you will find that having a horse of your own will enable you to practice more
and achieve your goals sooner - especially if you have plans on showing.  For more information on
horses available for sale or lease please click on FOR SALE to the left.

Also, our students are highly encouraged to attend horse shows.  Shows are a great place to put your
skills to the test and to have a 3rd party (the judge) give his/her opinion of your riding skills at any level.
While a show is a 'competition' you do not have to be a highly competitive person to enjoy them - getting
to spend the weekend with your horse or pony and all your barn friends will make it well worth it!  We are
only 1 mile from the Plantation Equestrian Center which holds several affordable schooling shows every
month.  Additionally there are several "A" show circuits within the tri-county area.  We work closely with
all riders to keep their showing within their schedule and budget.  For more information on horse shows
please click on HORSE SHOWS to the left.

Please feel free to contact us for additional details about our lesson program.  You can also click on
TESTIMONIALS to the left for comments from past and present students.
